Ways to make it easier to track & prioritze change requests (and not drive Carlos nuts.)

By Laura Cuozzo - Posted on 14 October 2005

Hi All,

I saw in Carlos' recent post that he was getting flooded with requests.

I have two suggestions:

1) Maybe people can post all their smaller, one-off suggestions here. And instead of Carlos trying to fix it right away, he could resond with the level of effort it would take him to make these changes on the current platform. He could simplet let us know if it's easy/medium/hard to do.

And then when the usability group assists in priortizing requests, we can take the effort-level into consideration.

2) Also, if anyone has questions on how you do something (how to add someone to a group, etc.) someone can post the question and anyone can respond--not just Carlos--if they know the answer. So it's kind of like community group help. We can put all these posts in the HELP AND SUPPORT forum.

Thoughts?
Laura

I just went through the steps of adding an image to a post with Vi and she said that it would be a good idea to put those instructions on-line and volunteered to do so.

I invited her to click on the "about" link on the top menu, then click on "How do I... and Frequently Asked Questions" and "add a child page" there.

I will work on the weekend on improving and facilitating the process of making requests and sugestions.

Cheers.
