Symposium on Social Architectures at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School...
Estee and I have been invited as Fellows to the Symposium on Social Architectures (http://www.corante.com/events/ssa/) at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at the Harvard Law School (http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/home/) in two weeks. The event is a partnership between the Berkman Center and Corante (http://www.corante.com/about.php), the world's first blog media company.
The Symposium on Social Architecture (SSA) will bring together the leading lights of the social software and social media space to discuss the overarching themes and underlying technologies that are driving the massive uptake of people-centered, user-driven, individual-connecting applications, communities, content, and services.
The SSA, produced by Corante in partnership with the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at the Harvard Law School, will host many of the movement’s leading developers, entrepreneurs, thinkers and analysts in a series of lively panels, interviews, talks, and informal events designed to dig deep into the issues driving the ‘social revolution’.
The one-day event is produced by Corante and will be held in Cambridge, MA, at the Harvard Faculty Club and additional venues at Harvard University. The Harvard campus offers the quintessential environment to host many of the field’s leading thinkers and doers for an intense, multi-faceted, and high-minded exploration of subjects and debates related to the so-called social technologies, tools, applications and publications that are allowing individuals to connect, create, collaborate, and communicate.
