Two new courses on campus.educar.org

This weekend a World War I History course and a Design of Earthquake resistant houses course were enabled on the Open Virtual Campus http://campus.educar.org

The Open Virtual Campus allows educators anywhere in the world to create their own on-line courses and virtual learning environments for their classes. It is completely free, supported by revenue generated by Educar.org and is based on the open source platform Moodle. Over 4500 people from all over Latin America and around the world have registered and participate in the campus.

Peruvian high school teacher Giannina Marthans has created a new World War I History on-line course for her high school social science class in Lima. The course is open to visitors on: http://www.campus.educar.org/course/view.php?id=136

Colombian social worker José Adán Aristizabal has created a new on-line course for his Design of Earthquake Resistant one and 2 stories Houses class in Medellín, Colombia.
