Useful information for fellows

Digital Governance Initiative is a virtual network of over 2800 E-governance policymakers and practitioners from developing countries. The Initiative identifies and propagates innovative e-governance models which are suited for developing countries. The models are based on strategic application of knowledge and information technologies to create an e-governance system which is citizen specific and addressess a particular development concern, viz: lack of information, corruption, bureaucracy etc.

Would anyone benefit from having an informal mentor from Microsoft?

Microsoft employees have been mentors in the past and are willing to do so again in the future. Because we are half way into the Program, this would be an informal mentorship...imagine it would be for someone who has a specific technical/business need that would lend itself well to Microsoft support. This would be non-financial support....intellectual/technical...

Each project is eligible for an Advance on project funds for project expenses.

In order to receive an advance you must...

...give an update on the current state of your project

...provide documentation of project expenses (RECEIPTS RECEIPTS RECEIPTS) using the Project Expense Log 

Attached is the reimbursement form you will need in order to submit a reimbursement request.

 Submit your reimbursement request by Tuesday at noon in order to receive payment by Thursday.

All Digital Vision projects are able to access the Project Funds to aid them in the develpment of their projects.

In accessing these project funds, each fellow agrees to: 

    - Use his/her best judgment in deciding appropriate uses of the funds
