Technical Information and Specifications

Our collaboration framework is a specialized distribution of the open source application Drupal.

Modifications to the core Drupal code and its contribution modules have been kept to a minimum.

Most customization and functionality enhancements are included in a custom module that plugs in to the Drupal core, guaranteeing compatibility and easing the migration and upgrade process when new versions of the core application we are based on are released.

The rest are included in a set of custom themes or template designed to deploy the custom module enhancements without having to touch the core code of the application.

Currently the platform has been tested on LAMP - Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP -, but is designed to be deployed in a variety of server environments.

Extreme efforts have been made to guarantee a final user interface without the need of special plugins or software from the end users other than any standard web browser and an Internet connection.
